We own and control both the mechanical and publishing rights to all our music so that our clients can quickly license the perfect track in one quick deal. We create unique and sometimes peculiar music, specifically crafted to fulfill the needs of the scene or spot. We have been featured on network television, national commercials, and feature films, but mostly we want to be featured in your upcoming project.

We know there is nothing more frustrating than to fall in love with music in the editing room that you ultimately can't use. We offer custom original music composition to replace existing cues. We actually find it helpful to have a temp track that seems to be working thematically. It's a great point of reference of what the director or editor is going for, and can serve as a root language for communicating additional adjustments and accents which is vital to the process of creating the perfect feel for a scene. We know that not just any music will do the trick!

Famous Bakery licenses Underwater City People's "Another Bad Decision" to NBC's new primetime hit show Parenthood.
We are proud to annouce that Famous Bakery has licensed Underwater City People's "Another Bad Decision" to NBC's new primetime hit show Parenthood. The song is featured prominently in Episode 102 "Man Versus Possum", when character Sarah, played by Lauren Graham is sending phone pictures of a dress that she would like get Julia's (Erika Christensen) approval. "Our ability to turn around the deal in a day was essential to making this license possible" says Famous Bakery's Jon Rustad "We've worked on both sides of the fence, licensing and post, and know what a tight deadline means. Celeste [Kim] and I, and the rest of the Famous Bakery team are available and responsive." This is Underwater City People's third network television license. The two previous licenses were granted to separate episodes of the WB's Jack and Bobby.

Famous Bakery grants online promotional license for use in Words Become Pictures' Feline Ghost Adventures.
Famous Bakery Music grants an online promotional license to Words Become Pictures for use in their viral short film Feline Ghost Adventures. "It was a wonderful opportunity to get more exposure, especially since so much music is discovered on the internet." says Famous Bakery's Celeste Kim. "We're always looking for organic ways of getting our music into the ears of potential fans". Feline Ghost Adventures has receive an exceptional number of hits just in it's first few weeks. The strategic partnership is intented to promote the upcoming Underwater City People album "So you've decide to be . . ." This is the band's second release due out Spring 2010.
